3rd Ritual Work Meeting at the 2010 Leipzig Book Fair

Another invitation from the Minerva Lodge of the Three Palms to the Monument to the Battle of Leipzig

The second Ritual Work Meeting at the Leipzig Book Fair on 14 March 2009 was an unforgettable event thanks to the participation 200 Brothers from over seventy seven Lodges. The Minerva Lodge of the Three Palms has therefore decided to host another very special Ritual Work Meeting during the 2010 Leipzig Book Fair. On Saturday 20 March 2010, a meeting in the Entered Apprentice degree will be held at 11.15 am at a truly historic venue: the catacombs of ‘Völkerschlachtdenkmal’ or the Monument to the Battle of Leipzig (also known as the Monument to the Battle of Nations).

The meeting will be followed by a guided tour of the monument. We will then assemble at the Minerva Lodge House for a fraternal get-together with the Sisters over a hearty Saxon-Bavarian snack.

A ladies’ programme (“Look behind the scenes of the Leipzig Zoo”) will also be organised for the Sisters while the meeting is underway.

Unfortunately, for safety reasons the management of the monument has limited the number of Brothers who can take part. Should this event be quickly booked up owing to high demand, the organisers would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience. Bearing this in mind, it would be a good idea to register and remit the fee as soon as possible.

The €35 fee per head includes admission to the Monument to the Battle of Leipzig, a guided tour of the structure, a snack at the Minerva Lodge House, and a limited-edition badge. For participating Sisters (extra fee), the ladies’ programme is also included in the fee.

Registration notes:

1. For organisational reasons, direct communication should only take place by e-mail. All information will also be solely provided by e-mail.

2. Registrations shall be binding upon remittance of the €35 fee and confirmation by e-mail from the Minerva Lodge.

3. Since the number of participants in the meeting is limited due to fire regulations, participation shall be decided depending on when the fee is credited to the Minerva Lodge’s bank account.

4. The deadline for registrations is Saturday 13 February 2010

5. Fees cannot be refunded in the event of withdrawal of participation or failure to attend. In such cases, the fee will be donated to the Widow’s cause.
